Every single piece of wood that I don’t use for longboards, I design and craft primarily for butcher blocks and cutting boards. I make mostly end grain blocks, thick and durable and as an heirloom to be enjoyed for generations. No two boards are alike, each one is completely unique.
Wooden cutting boards, all wooden cutting boards should be hand washed and hand dried. Do not put in a dishwasher or microwave and do not soak. Storing away from direct sunlight will reduce the risk of fading. Rub frequently with mineral or butcher block oil and they will get better with age.
